A storyteller
at heart

Hi! I'm Maria O'Donoghue — an Irish celebrant who hopped over to the UK more than twenty years ago and never left. Storytelling is part of my heritage, and after 15 years in Media & Broadcast and time spent working in the charity sector, creating meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies feels like the most natural thing in the world.

Based in Milton Keynes, I craft wedding ceremonies that are joyful, personal, and full of heart. I take the time to truly get to know you, so the words I write feel like they could only ever belong to the two of you.

Whether you're planning something intimate or a big, bold celebration, I bring warmth, creativity, and a storyteller's touch to every ceremony. I work across the UK and back home in Ireland — where my love of stories first began.
